Crossover DS 7 Louvre received a piece of the Louvre in the salonSeptember 3, 2020
The DS brand, which emerged from Citroen in 2015, created the limited edition DS 7 Crossback Louvre. Already from the name it becomes clear whose help the French automaker resorted to.
The DS 7 Louvre crossover is a joint project of the DS brand and a world-famous museum. A special series SUV can be recognized by its special nameplates, original headlamps with a gloss black finish, roof rails and window edging, and 20-inch Alexandria wheels. The famous Louvre pyramid, adorned with mirrors, reminds of the belonging of the new cross to art.
The integration with the museum does not end there. The interior of the car has a central display that shows a selection of the Louvre’s masterpieces. This virtual catalog includes 182 cultural objects at once. They were selected by the automaker itself under the supervision of the Louvre specialists. The images are accompanied by podcasts in different languages: English, German, French, as well as Italian and Spanish.
Another bonus for buyers of cars from the new series is free admission to the Louvre and other cultural institutions for the owner of the crossover and his companion.
The novelty is based on the version of Grand Chic / DS Inspiration Opera Art Basalt Black. The motor range of the cross includes 1.6-liter gasoline engines producing 180 or 225 “horses”, as well as a two-liter diesel engine with 180 hp. and a hybrid with 225 or 300 hp.
The “museum” crossover will be sold in 18 countries at once. And they are expecting him this year.
