Crossover Aston Martin will receive tuning kitFebruary 24, 2020
Atelier Lumma Design showed sketches of the cross Aston Martin DBX, having a tuning kit under the name CLR AM. The appearance of the cross was modified by applying a wide-body kit with carbon inserts, the fifth door was decorated with a carbon fiber spoiler, and the tuners also replaced the wheels and nozzles of the exhaust system.
The upgraded crossover, unlike simple DBX, has got new bumpers, other front fenders, wheel arch extensions, other sills, a diffuser of a different shape and a rear wing.
For any body shade, in the lower area around the perimeter of the body kit, a red braid was provided, the radiator grill is framed by a bright edging, it is also used to highlight the direction of side stampings and muffler tips.
Some parts of the body kit will be made of carbon fiber, in particular, composite inserts will also be used in the interior: polymer pedals will appear in the cabin, and the steering wheel and front panel will receive carbon sections. There are currently no sketches of the interior.
An improved crossover will also receive not regular disks, but custom ones that have a “racing” fastening with a central nut, while at the same time they may not be able to complete the serial variation with them.
Specialists of the tuning company also offer replacing the exhaust system: in the images, the place of two not very large round nozzles was taken by a pair of “2-wing” increased cross-section. The engine will remain the same, that is, a “twin-turbo eight” with a capacity of 550 hp.
The company intends to prepare 20 units of Aston Martin Lumma CLR AM, and customers can get their crosses before the end of this year. The cost will be known later.
In addition, it was previously noted that the Aston Martin Vantage Roadster will receive the world’s fastest folding roof. The first deliveries of the Vantage Roadster should start in the second half of this year.
