Crazy acceleration of a hypercar SSC Tuatara filmed on videoJune 2, 2020
A video appeared on the web that captured how an American hypercar accelerates from 100 km / h to 200 km / h in a staggering 2.5 seconds.
Less than a month ago, the American company SSC released a video showing acceleration of the Tuatara hypercar from 0 to 100 km / h. Nevertheless, we still don’t know the exact dynamic characteristics of the new items. A couple of minutes ago, our editorial team found an even more exciting video.
During a recent test drive on a 1750 horsepower hypercar, a team of SSC engineers found that the car was able to accelerate very quickly from a speed of 100 km / h to 200 km / h.
“I was informed that our first hypercar can accelerate from 100 to 200 km / h in an impressive 2.5 seconds, and this result was repeated over several races. He also noted that he was very surprised by this result, because the car received only a single axis drive.
Thanks to the carbon fiber body and monocoque, the American hypercar has a total weight of 1247 kg, and the drag coefficient of its body is 0.279, Tuatara is certainly one step ahead of some of its direct competitors. This new video proves that those 100 lucky ones who “get the opportunity” to pay at least 1.6 million dollars for the purchase of a Tuatara hypercar will not regret that they spent a fortune on just one car.
