Coupe-crossover Volkswagen Tayron X went on saleJuly 19, 2020
Taking orders for the car began about a month ago. Volkswagen hopes the car will be as successful as the classic Tayron.
Volkswagen has officially launched the coupe-like crossover Tayron X on the market. The car has reached the brand dealers in China, and the first copies were handed over to those who had previously issued a pre-order. The Tayron X is based on a platform from the classic version of the Tayron. The two main differences are the coupé body and the sporty R-Line body kit for the Tayron X. It is noteworthy that the additions characteristic of the R-Line version will be available already in the basic version.
The dimensions of the Volkswagen Tayron X are 4626x1860x1662 mm with a wheelbase of 2 730 mm. In the engine range, there will be one power unit, but with two boost options. The base engine with a 2.0-liter volume will receive 186 hp, and the more powerful engine has a return of 220 hp. In tandem with the motor, the proprietary DSG7 robotic transmission works. For an additional fee, you can count on an all-wheel drive system. From the technical equipment, we note the presence of adaptive cruise control, all-round cameras, a digital dashboard and an emergency braking system.
A special place is occupied by the infotainment complex, which is considered one of the most advanced in the world. The Volkswagen Tayron X coupe crossover will have to pay a lot – prices start at 236,000 yuan
