Coupe-crossover Mazda CX-4 received an update
August 4, 2020The new configuration hasn’t received as many changes as it did in 2019, but there’s a lot to see here too.
Mazda talked about the updated coupe crossover CX-4. The car went on sale on Tuesday, August 4. Recall that the previous update of this model took place last year – then the car changed more globally. This time, the developers have improved the quality of finishing materials, increased the level of noise insulation, and also added additional options.
Note the emergence of one of the most advanced multimedia systems on the market – such an infotainment complex has the ability to access the Internet, and also supports voice control. Of the new driver assistance assistants, it is worth talking about the automatic braking system separately – it works even with a lateral threat and reversing.
The engine range has passed to the new Mazda CX-4 from a pre-styling version – it was made up of two proven and reliable Skyactiv-G engines. The volume of the first is 2.0 liters, and its power reaches 158 hp.
A more powerful engine with a 2.5-liter volume is capable of delivering 192 hp. Engines work in tandem with 6-speed manual transmission or 6-spped automatic transmission, depending on the configuration.
For a surcharge, you can count on an all-wheel drive modification. For the basic version of the updated Mazda CX-4 they ask 148,800 yuan, and the top-end modification was estimated at 215,800 yuan
In the meantime, it became known that the popular crossover Mazda CX-5 may receive a new name after a generation change. According to one Japanese source, the new name has already been registered and the car could be presented as a cross-coupe.
