Coupe and convertible Audi TT get two new versionsNovember 30, 2020
The German sports car will receive two sterling packages at once, which make the model even more dynamic.
Audi has released a new variant of the TTS called Competition Plus, which features colors and materials to give more styling emphasis. Both the coupe and convertible are eligible for a styling package.
Available in Chronos Gray, Glacier White, Tango Red and Turbo Blue, the Competition Plus features many subtle design details that help it stand out from the standard TTS. Its 20-inch wheels are painted black, the brake calipers are red and most of the exterior trim is black. An additional Audi logo appears on both sides, right in front of the rear wheels.
Inside, the seats are upholstered in black leather with contrasting Express Red or Ara Blue stitching. Several other styling accents (including carbon fiber on the center console) are part of the package.
The car is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that develops 320 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Coupé enthusiasts can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds and a convertible in 4.8 seconds. The base price of the Audi TTSCompetition Plus, which is available in selected markets, costs 61,000 euros.
Audi has also unveiled a package called Bronze Selection, which will be available on TT and TTS in the second quarter of 2021. Created by Audi Sport, an internal division of the company, it does not affect the drivetrain, but adds decorative elements in bronze and copper colors inside and out.
