Could this be the McLaren Senna LM we were all waiting for?December 30, 2019
The dealership of the British company has published a photo that shows the McLaren Senna LM supercar. This is the most powerful version of the model, which is allowed to move on public roads.
McLaren is very predictable when it comes to the series of its most powerful Ultimate supercars. First there was the legendary F1 model, which was later released in the GTR version, which is designed for the racing track. The latter competed in international racing series, including the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours Endurance Race. Then followed the F1 LM, which was the road-legal version of the GTR – that is, it was possible for him to drive on public roads and yes, it was a little less powerful.
So the current McLaren Senna is going to get a similar – “evil” version. Following the introduction of the Senna GTR at the Geneva Motor Show in 2018, the British brand will show a road-legal version of the race car, also known as Senna LM. It’s just not clear when this will happen.
McLaren Glasgow, the UK’s dealership, posted images of what could be the official Senna LM on Instagram. Called the Senna Le Mans Edition, this particular instance of the car looks more aggressive than the regular model, but with some notable changes, such as wing air intakes and a different set of discs. Gray Senna with orange accents received LM badges all over the body.
Now here’s the thing. This month there were several messages about the arrival of Senna LM in the company’s salons. The Supercar blog reported that the orange Senna LM arrived at the dealer, although the blog did not mention which salon the photograph was taken from.
