Concept Vision Mercedes-Maybach revealed before its official debutAugust 15, 2016
German group Daimler, Mercedes-Benz and Maybach companies continue to heat up interest in the upcoming premiere of the luxury coupe concept and produce a new image intriguing six-meter car.
A week before the official debut, the automaker has released the second promotional photo of the new concept, dubbed Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, which, according to rumors, will go into production in 2017.
The new teaser of Mercedes-Maybach Coupe Concept shows the front part of the news with great original grille and LED headlights. According to unofficial information, the novelty has received name Mercedes-Maybach Vision 6. As previously reported, the official premiere of the car will take place at the exhibition Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in Pebble Beach (CA).
Previous teaser showed a sensual silhouette with a pronounced characteristic of the Maybach logo on the rear of the roof rack.
“6” in the title refers to the length of this concept: the full 6 meters. This means that the two-door car will be longer than the Mercedes-Maybach S600 for 190 000 dollars. The car has the original body with a long hood, a small glazed roof and gradually falling, causing historical associations. The concept will be demonstrated at the flagship event Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 21. It is now officially known, but it is assumed that the next Maybach will receive an elongated platform from Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe. He must use the same 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine V12, which is under the hood of Mercedes-Maybach S600 sedan. In this case, the main target will be the Rolls-Royce Phantom. It is possible that the concept will look much better than the last compartment of the Maybach, built on a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren platform for more than ten years ago.
