Completely new Renault Captur will try to return the title of bestsellerApril 19, 2019
Until 2018, this particular crossover dominated the European market. And despite the fact that now the model remains quite popular, the group hopes to return the title of bestseller through global updates.
Concern Renault is preparing to introduce a new generation of the Caprute crossover. At the moment, there is an active phase of road and resource tests, and only camouflaged prototypes are available on the Web. At the moment, representatives of the company do not disclose details, but report on a large-scale processing model.
“If you do not produce a car that meets the requirements of customers at 100%, your business will be extremely bad,” said Chief Designer Lawrence van der Acker. He also added that everything will change: exterior design, interior, as well as technology and technical equipment.
The novelty will be built on the basis of a modified version of the CMF-B platform. Under the hood will be offered a brand new 1.3-liter turbo engine, developed in collaboration with the concern Daimler. Also, the model line will include a diesel and a hybrid version, but details are not yet known.
