Company Peugeot has replaced the van Partner on RifterFebruary 21, 2018
The company Peugeot introduced a van called Rifter. The model received a new platform and replaced the Partner. The premiere of the car (together with the “twins” Citroen Berlingo and Opel Combo) will be held at the Motor Show in Geneva.
The Peugeot Rifter is built on the modular EMP2 platform. The model is available in two versions: 4.4 and 4.75 meters long. A version with five and seven seats is also available. The volume of the luggage compartment of the standard modification will be 775 liters, the maximum, for an extended version with a folded second row of seats – 4000 liters. In addition, there are sections in the arches and ceiling, the total volume of which is 14 liters.
The range of compact engines consists of 1,2-liter gasoline engines with a capacity of 110 and 130 horsepower, and 1.5-liter diesel engines, the recoil of which is 75, 100 and 130 forces. The engines can be combined with a five-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
All modifications of the Peugeot Rifter are equipped with a Grip Control traction control system with five operating modes. As an option is available the all-wheel drive system, developed in conjunction with the company Dangel.
The van got an i-Cockpit interior, like the car models of the brand. The list includes a multimedia system with an eight-inch touchscreen, support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a navigation system with real-time traffic display, a projection display and a rear-view camera.
The list of electronic assistants consists of adaptive cruise control, the system of recognition of traffic signs, emergency braking, monitoring of blind areas and monitoring of driver fatigue.
Peugeot Partner is available in the Russian market with gasoline engines of 1.6 liters capacity of 92 and 120 horsepower. The box is only a five-speed manual transmission.
