Citroen updated its Chinese version of the C4 sedanApril 7, 2019
While in most markets in Western Europe, Citroen no longer offers sedans, in China, the French brand sells five different body data models at once. C4 L is one of them, and is now offered with significant updates.
For the first time Citroen C4 L was introduced in 2012, and in 2016, the model experienced a restyling, so that the appearance of the sedan in 2019 almost did not change, but the interior was completely revised.
The C4 L has a completely new front panel, which now looks more modern due to the large 9-inch touch screen of the latest voice-activated infotainment system. Located at the top of the center console, the display fits seamlessly into the now-made two-color panel.
Other updates include a new climate control unit, a three-spoke steering wheel, a multi-function display between the dials of the dashboard, recycled vents and door cards, and an electronic parking brake.
Sedan C4 L is built on the same platform as the European brother in the hatchback body, but offers a longer (110 mm) wheelbase to meet the needs of Chinese customers who love more space for rear passengers.
Under the hood, nothing has changed – the C4 L continues to be offered with a 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 134 or 165 horsepower, depending on the configuration. In the first case, put the mechanics, while in the second – automatic transmission.
