Citroen continues to partner with RipCurl, an Australian surf clothing brand, with the launch of a new special version of the C3 Aircross.
Citroen has released a new special version of the C3 Aircross model, which has received a number of cosmetic improvements inspired by the Australian brand of surf clothing RipCurl. The first deliveries of the special version are expected in July.
The special edition C3 Aircross RipCurl is based on the mid-range Citroen Flair, albeit with some cosmetic enhancements. Externally, the new product features new 16-inch alloy wheels, a glossy black roof, as well as a number of other black body elements. Also, the car received accents in the form of yellow headlights and rear-view mirror housings.
Customers are also offered a choice of four body colors – Platinum Gray, Cumulus Gray, Natural White and Perla Nera Black. To complete the exterior design, Citroen equipped the front doors of the crossover with RipCurl-style stickers and the brand logo.
Inside, the C3 Aircross RipCurl has a unique striped upholstery with white stitches and yellow accents that reflect the color bag on the outside of the SUV. The equipment of the crossover includes automatic climate control, an auto-dimming mirror, a set of RipCurl floor mats and an infotainment system with a 7-inch touch screen and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
It is powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged Citroen three-cylinder gasoline engine that develops 109 horsepower. and torque of 250 Nm. The engine transfers power to the front wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox.
