Citroen Jumpy got three new modifications at onceApril 1, 2019
All new modifications of a small van are already available for order in the French market. It is known that the Jump lineup has been supplemented with versions called “Worker”, “Driver” and “City Van”.
Citroen is set to strengthen its position in the LCV market. To this end, the brand has supplied its popular Citroen Jumpy van with three new versions, increasing the number of modifications offered to customers to five. The first is quite “speaking” name Worker. This car is intended for transportation of heavy loads in difficult road conditions. The all-wheel drive system of such a Jumpy never received, but it can boast of a reinforced suspension, thanks to which its payload increased by 400 kilograms.
The road qualities of the Citroen Jumpy Worker are positively affected by the ground clearance of 20 millimeters, the metal protection of the engine, as well as the Grip Control system, which facilitates cross-country driving. As an option, this van can be equipped with a lightweight double seat. Buyers will be offered two versions – M (length 4.95 m) and XL (length 5.3 m).
Driver version suitable for companies whose products are delivered over long distances. The path from the supplier to the client will be successfully completed thanks to improved noise isolation and a rich list of electronic assistants – from the rear-view camera and navigator, to the road sign scanner and intelligent head optics. This Jumpy will be offered with the same lengths of the body – 4.95 m and 5.3 m.
But Jumpy City Van is designed to work in large cities. The length of such a car is only 4.6 meters, and the volume of the cargo compartment, according to the assurances of the developers, reaches 5.1 cubic meters. The list of available options facilitates the operation of cars on urban roads.
Recall, under the hood of the Citroen Jumpy hiding modern diesel engines that meet all the requirements of the new environmental standard. Their return is 100, 120, 150 or 180 horsepower. The most powerful diesel engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the rest of the engines are combined with the manual transmission.
