Chrysler Portal Concept is a fully electric minivanJanuary 3, 2017
The company Chrysler together with the company Panasonic Automotive Advanced Engineering has developed a concept minivan Portal. The prototype, which debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show CES, appointed to millenialam – people who were born in the late 1980s and early 1990s (generation Y).
Electric concept car equipped with the voice recognition system and the people inside. Electronics car is able to recognize a particular person and independently adjust some features in its benefits. For example, select music or set the optimum temperature.
In addition, the camera installed inside the car can be used for example for selfie – pictures will be sent directly to mobile gadgets of passengers. Plus, these cameras follow the direction of view of the driver. Therefore electronics can independently adjust the backlight brightness to reduce eye strain, and in the event of danger on the road show warning wherever driver looking.
The concept car also can help the driver and passengers to plan routes based on the preferences of each people. For example, choose a restaurant on the way that will appeal to all.

The prototype is equipped autonomous control system which provides for the exchange of information on road infrastructure objects and other cars.
In the motion Chrysler Portal powered by an electric motor that is powered by a set of lithium-ion battery capacity of 100 kilowatt-hours. The maximum power reserve of the prototype is just over 400 kilometers. Using a special charger to refill reserve of 150 kilometers is possible in 20 minutes.
On plans to release a production version of Portal Chrysler no information failed.
