In China, the excitement around the new Volkswagen Tayron crossover does not subside. This mid-size SUV hit the “heaven” auto showers in October. The following month, local analysts told about 5.5 thousand copies sold, a month later, the model managed to improve this figure – sales of the cross crossed the 10 thousand mark.
In addition to the classic version, Chinese dealers offer customers sports modifications R-Line. These crossovers can boast aerodynamic body kit, modified bumpers, more overall spoiler, diffuser and alloy wheels 19 inches.
Steadily high consumer interest, local experts explain reasonable prices, as well as the quality of the model. So, for the most “budget” WV Tayron will have to pay 188,800 yuan. The maximum equipped Tayron R-Line will cost 319,800 yuan.
Recall, as a motor, the Chinese are offered a turbo TSI for two liters with a capacity of 186 or 220 hp. Both varieties are combined with a seven-step “robot”. All-wheel drive system is available only for an additional fee.
