Chinese compact van based on Mazda with Maserati design shown on “live” photosJuly 12, 2019
The new three-row compact Family F7 from Haima should reach official dealers in China by the end of this year. In the meantime, the web has published the first “live” photos of the serial car.
The next generation of the compact van Haima Family F7, as before, is based on the improved Mazda 3 platform of the 2003 model. The appearance of the novelty was inspired by last year’s VF700 concept, which debuted at the Beijing Auto Show. What dimensions got the updated Family F7, is not reported. Recall that its predecessor had the following dimensions: length – 4,750 mm, width – 1,800 mm, height -1,695 mm, wheelbase – 2,800 mm, ground clearance – 150 mm.
From the prototype, the serial Haima Family F7 borrowed the original head optics, which became longer and narrower, but the radiator grille with a large number of vertical bars sends us to the Maserati cars. The back of the body gets two-tone design and new taillights.
In the salon of the updated compact van, a digital dashboard appeared, which is visually combined with the touchscreen of multimedia – a type of layout that is popular today. The seats in the seven-seater compact van are arranged according to the scheme 2 + 2 + 3. It is expected that as a motor, the new Family F7 will receive a 165-horsepower gasoline turbo-four and a half liters. For the former compact van in the salons of Chinese dealers had to leave at least 79,800 yuan. The novelty, according to experts, will be slightly more expensive.
