Chic Westcraft ‘Capistrano’ motorhome will be auctionedDecember 15, 2019
An exclusive 1950-year motorhome will be auctioned in January 2020.
This motorhome will be a real gift for those who love long trips. Lucas Luckner bought a shabby 33-foot trailer and decided to restore it. Luckner breathed a second life into Westcraft ‘Capistrano’ 1950. It should be emphasized that this motorhome is the largest in the entire Westcraft family. Released ‘Capistrano’ was in California by Westcraft Manufacturing Company after World War II.
Luckner decided not only to restore the motorhome, but also to carry out a restmod, combining comfort and modern functionality with a traditional design. The art deco style of the 1930s was taken as the basis. But under the classic panels hides the latest equipment.
Attention deserves lighting, created taking into account the general style. There is also a modern TV, high-fi sound audio system, water heating, as well as the Duotherm heating / AC remote control system.
It is worth noting that this project was created for almost 11 years. Exclusive Westcraft ‘Capistrano’ will be sold at Leake Auctions auction on January 18 next year in Arizona, USA.
In addition, it was previously noted that a unique flying retro car will be sold at auction. In total, only 5 units of the transformer were produced.
