Chevy has raised the price of the 2022 Traverse crossoverJune 10, 2021
It became known that for the Chevy Traverse version of the 2022 model year, the L trim, which was positioned as the base version of the crossover, will no longer be available.
Launched several months late, the 2021 Chevrolet Traverse comes with two appearance “packages” – the Midnight Edition and the Sport Edition. According to the Western publication GM Authority, for the performance of the full-size crossover 2022 model year, the list of available trim levels will be somewhat reduced.
The publication says the base L will be phased out for the new model year, making the 2022 Traverse LS the cheapest version to buy.
The entry-level model was offered with a limited selection of colors, including Summit White and Mosaic Black Metallic with Jet Black interiors, and was not available with dealer-installed options.
In the previous model year, the starting price of the Traverse L was $ 30,995 and the Traverse LS was $ 34,395. More importantly, the base version, as reported by the GM Authority, was usually excluded from any manufacturer’s discount and incentive programs. We don’t have starting prices for the 2022 crossover version, but even in the best case scenario without the price hike, the most affordable 2022 Traverse will be $ 3,400 more than before.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that there were data on prices for the 2022 Chevy Equinox RS crossover. 2022 Chevy Equinox RS high-performance crossover will reportedly start at $ 31,295
