Chevrolet unveils updated TrailBlazer SUVAugust 25, 2020
The changes affected both the appearance and the technical part of the car. Such a car will be sold in the South American market.
The Brazilian division of General Motors has presented the updated TrailBlazer SUV. Recall that for the first time such a car appeared in 2012. Until recently, the SUV was also sold in the Asian market, but the plant decided to close and stop selling. In the front part, the main changes were made to the radiator grille – two massive chrome stripes appeared that frame the brand name.
The salon has retained 7 seats, and its main innovation is the new MyLink infotainment complex. Its diagonal is 8 inches, now it is possible to connect from a smartphone, as well as a Wi-Fi module for 7 devices at once. From the technical equipment, we single out the emergence of a modern collision avoidance system, the action of which is coordinated with the camera under the windshield. The rear view camera was also updated in Chevrolet, which received improved resolution.
But in the engine range, only a 2.8-liter turbocharged diesel engine was left, capable of delivering 200 hp, which works in tandem with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The car retained the rigidly connected all-wheel drive system. It takes only 10.3 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h. The updated version of the Chevrolet TrailBlazer will go on sale in September this year.
Meanwhile, the new Chevrolet Corvette C8 convertible begins to arrive in the showrooms of the brand’s official dealers. Recall that sales were supposed to start much earlier, but they had to be delayed due to the coronavirus epidemic.
