Chevrolet unveils new electric crossover Bolt EVFebruary 15, 2021
Chevrolet has unveiled the new Bolt EV electric crossover and its elongated variant.
The new Bolt EV features an aggressive front fascia with a revised grille, slim daytime running lights and other headlamps. In turn, a fully digital dashboard, a modified multimedia system with a 10.2-inch screen, support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as wireless charging, new seats with artificial leather trim and contrasting stitching appeared in the interior of the novelty.
Speaking of the technical equipment of the model, it is equipped with a 200-horsepower (300 Nm) electric motor and a 65 kW / h battery, which provides a power reserve of up to 416 km. In addition, this car supports fast charging, which allows you to replenish the battery with energy equivalent to 100 km in 30 minutes.
As for the extended version of the novelty called Bolt EUV, it is very similar to the “younger” model, while being 152 mm longer and has a wheelbase stretched by 76 mm. The technical part of this car is the same as that of the Bolt EV, at the same time the range is different, albeit slightly. So, Bolt EUV can travel on one charge not 416 km, but 402.
Both new products come standard with the Chevy Safety Assist suite of safety systems, which consists of automatic emergency braking, lane keeping and more.
New car sales should start this summer. The Bolt EV will have to pay at least $ 31,995, while the longer version costs $ 33,995.
In addition, some time ago it was reported that the right-hand drive Chevrolet Corvette C8 was noticed in road tests. It should be emphasized that the premiere of this version of the American sports car should take place in the coming months.
