Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups will be seriously updated by 2021August 22, 2019
GM is planning to introduce updated versions of its Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups in 2021. Cars will receive a new salon.
According to insiders, the changes are awaiting American pickups Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, although perhaps this is not what you expect. The foreign edition of Muscle Cars and Trucks reports that the American concern GM, which includes Chevrolet and GMC, will provide its half-ton pickups with a significantly updated interior for the 2021 model year.
It is noteworthy that cars will again receive changes – more recently, companies have shown new versions of their models.
The fact is that the GM leadership, apparently, had to start selling the new Silverado and Sierra before the planned time in response to the start of sales of a completely new generation of the Ram 1500 pickup 2019 model year. That is why the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra did not have time to get completely new interiors.
We hear about this for the first time, and the official report is not indicated in the publication’s report. I must say that the current Silverado / Sierra interior is pretty good. However, the new Ram has one of the most beautiful truck interiors of all time.
In any case, it looks like an interior update is underway. What can we expect? The report does not provide details, but it does mention the revised center console, which contains a larger screen infotainment system. Interior materials and small parts are likely to be changed – better materials will be used to provide a more luxurious interior. Given the criticism that was also directed against the Silverado / Sierra’s exterior design, minor changes to the outside would not come as a surprise.
