Chevrolet Monza Budget Sedan Enters China MarketMarch 22, 2019
Chinese motorists offered immediately five sets of new items, which was based on an improved platform from the Chevrolet Lacetti.
China steel dealerships offer their customers a budget Chevrolet Monza sedan, whose debut was organized at the end of 2018. The novelty turned out to be smaller than the standard Cruise: the length decreased by 36 mm (to 4 630 mm), and the wheelbase by 60 mm (to 2 640 mm).
The new Chevrolet Monza is based on the 2013 model year’s Chevrolet Lacetti platform. Of course, the developers have upgraded the platform.
The engine range consists of two turbo engines for one and 1.3 liters with a capacity of 125 and 163 hp. As a transmission – a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic, but the drive – no single front. In total, five complete sets of “state employees” are available for purchase, among which are two “challenged” versions called “RS” and “Red Line”. Such sedans get an aerodynamic body kit, spectacular 17-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler and bright red inserts in the cabin and on the body.
The cost of new items on the Chinese market is about 89,900 yuan
Meanwhile, in the showrooms of China you can already find the updated Changan CS95 SUV. After the upgrade, this SUV retained the old engine, but changed the exterior and interior.
