The new Chevrolet Silverado has had mixed success since its launch earlier this year. Therefore, the automaker decided to release a version of the model of increased comfort.

Silverado High Country is a luxury pickup truck. It is a competitor to the Ford F-150 Platinum and Limited, as well as the Ram 1500 Longhorn and Limited. Given this, the price of the High Country truck, which is $ 66,920, is not so insane.

Smaller ground clearance, 22-inch wheels and an abundance of chrome make the model visually smaller. Where the Trail Boss blacked out grille gives the truck a heavy look, High Country benefits from the right balance of chrome and plastic trim.

In motion, the model is driven by a 6.2-liter V8. Its power is 420 horsepower, which even with such a heavy truck is enough with a margin. In addition, the power plant is equipped with a new system of dynamic control of fuel supply and can turn off unnecessary cylinders. A couple of the power plant is a 10-speed automatic transmission. This gearbox is top-end and is used in Camaro, GM’s full-size SUVs, and the rival Ford F-150 lineup.

In the interior of the new Silverado you can find a leather steering wheel, black leather seats and a front panel. And the small elements of the wood trim on the doors contrast slightly with this black. However, most American engineers invested in making others aware of the special status of the model. So, on either side of the Silverado there is a High Country badge, including a pair of huge ones on the front wings. On one of the bars of the grill there is a small stamping “High Country”.
