Chevrolet introduced the emblem of the mid-engine CorvetteApril 29, 2019
Back in February, a drawing appeared on the Internet with the supposed emblem of the new Chevrolet Corvette C8. Now the brand officially showed the logo of the sports car, and at the same time presented the evolution of the brand name.
The emblem as a whole repeats the one that was used earlier, but at the same time the logo became slightly simpler and more vertical than usual.
The new emblem has become part of the teaser campaign, which was launched from the moment the new premiere date was announced. The logo was shown at the annual Corvette Bash in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
As John told from the mid-engine Corvette Forum, Corvette chief engineer Tedzh Ukhter stuck stickers on the prototype of the car with Zora Arkus-Dantov. At the same time, this idea was not initially approved, but then General Motors head of communications allowed him to stick several stickers before arriving at the event, GM head Mary Barra.
In total, more than 100 Corvette C8 test mules were built, some of which were destroyed during crash tests when assessing the safety of a sports car.
