This is the first all-electric model introduced by General Motors for the Chinese market. Moreover, the Chevrolet Volt in the United States was sold quite successfully. A large number of photos from the official event appeared on the Web.
General Motors held an official and solemn presentation of two new models for the Chinese market. Yesterday, the concern introduced the first electric car for the local Chevrolet Menlo EV market and the seven-seater 2020 Chevrolet Blazer crossover.
Menlo EV is the first Chevrolet electric car introduced for the Celestial market. For some reason, the company itself calls it a sedan, although a coupe-like crossover is clearly visible in the photographs. Many design elements are borrowed from the Chevrolet FNR-X concept. In addition, the novelty looks similar to the Buick Velite 6 EV.
According to official information, Menlo EV will be able to drive up to 410 km on a full charge of batteries. As the power unit, a single electric motor is used with a capacity of up to 150 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The power source is a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 52.5 kW * hours.
Special attention deserves the multimedia system of the new generation MyLink +. Already in the standard version, she received a voice recognition system, gesture control and extensive integration with wearable gadgets.
