Chevrolet Corvette Z06 2011 for sale with extremely low mileageNovember 21, 2020
A rare 2011 Chevy Corvette in the Carbon Special Edition is on sale at an overseas auction. Based on the odometer, the car had only covered a few kilometers.
Now you have the chance to acquire one of the rarest Corvette Z06s ever built, thanks to an auction held on the overseas Bring a Trailer website. This version of the C6 Z06 Carbon is just one of 250 examples of this car ever built. According to the announcement, the mileage of this car is only 8.05 km.
The C6 Corvette Z06 was the last naturally aspirated high-performance Corvette – powered by the legendary LS7 V8 engine.
This 7.0-liter V8 put out 505 horsepower and was mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. It could spin above 8000 rpm, but the “red zone” was at around 7000 rpm.
The C6 generation Chevy Corvette Z06 in the Carbon Special Edition has received many improvements over the regular Corvette Z06. To live up to the Carbon name, the Z06 Carbon version boasts a carbon fiber hood, side skirts, front splitter, roof panel and special interior trim. The Corvette ZR1 features Brembo carbon ceramic brakes. There is also an exclusive body paint color called Supersonic Blue.
This particular Corvette Z06 Carbon Edition was purchased by a dealership owner and has been on display for the past nine years. According to the announcement of its sale, the car is now in perfect technical condition, practically in the state of a new car.
Not so long ago, we wrote that the Hennessey Performance studio took on the powerful Corvette Z06 coupe. Hennessey Performance’s full 2-door Corvette C8 upgrade program is still in the works. This was reported on Wednesday, July 8, in an American studio.
