Chevrolet Corvette new generation will show January 14?January 5, 2019
That would surely be great – the next generation Chevrolet Corvette was already quite protracted. But something tells me that this scenario is unlikely.
A couple of hours ago, a member of CorvetteForum.com, known by the nickname Zerv02, made a bold prediction, claiming that GM would introduce a new generation of its coupe on January 14th. It turns out that the car will show in 10 days? I don’t believe in that much, although Mr. Zerv02 claims that he obtained this data from his reliable sources.
Post Zerv02 can be literally translated as: “The surprise is scheduled for the 14th number, stay tuned.”
Previously it was assumed that the new generation of the sports coupe will be shown exactly at the Detroit motor show, but then this information was refuted by official sources. The presentation seemed to be transferred to a car dealership in New York, which will be held in April of this year. As representatives of the American brand say, the change in the timing of the presentation of the Corvette C8 is associated with some problems in the operation of its electrical systems.
Co-founder and participant of MidEngineCorvetteForum – a forum dedicated to the mid-engine version of the Chevrolet Corvette published an interesting article yesterday that discusses various reasons for postponing a presentation of a novelty. Of course, there are quite a few assumptions in the document, but in general it relies on reliable information and draws a picture of the near future, which makes sense. In short, problems with electricity are actually much more complicated than we can think of, so a sports coupe cannot be imagined at all soon.
Against this background, the information that the C8 generation may be shown on January 14 seems somewhat doubtful.
Not so long ago, we managed to learn that the new top Chevrolet Blazer will cost 57,175 dollars.
