Chevrolet Corvette C8 will not show in DetroitDecember 11, 2018
Fans of Corvettes are looking forward to the presentation of the new Chevrolet C8. Previously it was assumed that the mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette will be presented at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show, but this is not so.
Next year a new generation of the mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette C8 will be presented. Despite the fact that the company did not officially promise anything, most fans were waiting for the show at the January Detroit auto show. Unfortunately this will not happen. Now the company has officially announced – “Chevrolet will not take official participation in the automobile exhibition NAIAS.” Simply put, the company will not show new items in January.
After the company officially abandoned Detroit, there are not many places where the presentation of the new corvette can take place. The most likely may be a car dealership in New York, which will be held by the end of April 2019. In addition, the company can decide on a presentation outside the country of origin, and then the debut will be held in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
It is assumed that the new Chevrolet Corvette C8 will be offered in the range of 170,000 dollars. But this is unconfirmed information, and it will probably be the price for the “coolest” version. Conventional modifications can cost from 70,000 to 100,000 dollars.
