Chevrolet Camaro will add another manual transmissionJanuary 22, 2018
The company Chevrolet is going to add a Camaro coupe with a 6.2-liter V8 petrol engine with yet another manual transmission. Together with the current six-speed transmission, the model will also have a seven-shelf box from the Corvette. This is reported by AutoGuide.
Information about the new gearbox for the Camaro was found in the documents of the California Air Resources Board. It also indicates that the coupe will be offered only in one version with a motor 6.2. AutoGuide notes that this may indicate a rejection of the 650-hp version of ZL1.
In the US, the current Chevrolet Camaro is offered with two V8 engines with a capacity of 461 and 650 horsepower, a V6 unit that produces 287 forces, and a two-liter turbo-quater of 300 horsepower. Motors are combined with a six-speed “mechanics” or with an eight-band “automatic”.
