Chery’s Toyota Highlander rival gets an updateJanuary 25, 2021
We are talking about the premium Jetour X95 Pro crossover. Photos of the new Jetour have already been published.
Chinese auto giant Chery has revamped its sub-brand’s premium car. The Jetour X95 Pro received an upgrade. The manufacturer himself calls this model the main competitor of the Japanese Toyota Highlander. Official images of the novelty are shared by the Autohome edition.
In the exterior, we note the appearance of a new bumper, in which sections for navigation lights have appeared. Also in the front part, the radiator grill and head optics have been updated. The taillights have been redesigned. With a length of 4,875 mm, the distance between the axles of the Jetour X95 Pro is 2,855 mm. A 1.6-liter turbo engine with 197 hp output is used as a power plant on an uncontested basis.
It works in tandem with a 7-band robot. The drive is exclusively front-wheel drive. In the salon, we note a virtual dashboard and a modern multimedia complex. They are a large single screen in Mercedes-Benz style.
A separate sensor unit is used to control the air conditioner, and an electronic selector was provided to select the transmission mode.
The new Jetour should be presented this spring, and prices will be announced at the same time. As a reminder, the brand’s dealers ask for 146,900 yuan for the pre-reform car.
Meanwhile, the large crossover Chery Tiggo 8 has received worldwide recognition. The car not only sells well, but also receives very high marks from reputable automotive experts.
