Chery seriously updated the crossover Chery Tiggo 8January 30, 2020
While we are waiting for the “pre-reform” Chery Tiggo 8, the Chinese automaker has prepared a curious restyling of the model for the home market.
Chery is preparing the market debut of its seven-seater crossover Tiggo 8. The other day, spy photos of a camouflaged new product hit the Network. A three-row SUV will reach our country in March 2020. After restyling, Tiggo 8 acquired a modified radiator grille in the spirit of the “younger” Tiggo 7, new bumpers, improved head optics on LEDs, as well as LED rear lights and dynamic “turn signals”.
The changes also affected the interior of the car. The manufacturer has completely redesigned the front panel, climate control is now controlled from the touchscreen, and multimedia boasts a stylish “soaring” touch screen. Also, the updated crossover relies on a sports steering wheel with a horizontal bar and an electronic joystick gearbox.
In length, the Tiggo 8 reaches 4,700 mm with a wheelbase of 2,710 mm.
Under the hood of a restyled Tiggo 8 lies a 1.6-liter 197-horsepower turbo engine, paired with a seven-speed “robot”, or a one and a half liter turbo engine with a capacity of 149 hp, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission or a robotic gearbox. But the drive does not imply a choice – only the front. For the most affordable Chery Tiggo 8 in the “heavenly” car dealerships will have to leave 828,000 yuan. Cross with a top engine starts at 119,900 yuan
