The Chinese automaker has announced the start of accepting applications for the new eQ5 premium electric crossover, which will begin shipping on September 10.

The dimensions of the new items are 4600x1910x1655 mm, and the wheelbase is 2 850 mm. The size of the Chinese electric car is comparable to the Audi Q5 crossover. Also, the electric SUV from Chery boasts a relatively affordable price. So, dealers in China ask for a model from 160 thousand yuan. For comparison, the Mercedes-Benz EQC in China will cost at least 570.8 thousand yuan, and for the Jaguar I-Pace you will have to pay at least 630.8 thousand yuan, that is, the Chinese analogue costs 3.5-4 times cheaper.
