Chery launched sales of the new coupe-shaped crossover Jetour X70 CoupeJanuary 15, 2020
The brand created a cross-coupe for a youth audience, hence its stylish appearance and a rich line of available modifications.
Chery began selling the new Jetour X70 Coupe cross-coupe, which reached six brand-name dealerships in China. Crossover Jetour X70 appeared on sale in the summer of 2018. A few months later, the automaker offered customers its sporty version of the X70S. Now, the “youth” brand has released a coupe-like version of the SUV. In length, the novelty reaches 4,750 mm with a wheelbase of 2,745 mm. Outwardly from the standard Jetour X70, the Coupe version is distinguished by a new radiator grille, tinted rims, other DRLs on LEDs, recycled bumpers and darkened optics.
But the interior of the coupe-shaped car completely repeats the interior of the Jetour X70 with the difference that the new product relies on better materials and an expanded list of available equipment.
The motor range of the cross-coupe includes 1.5- and 1.6-liter turbo engines that produce 156 and 197 hp. respectively. The “base” engine is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or a “robot” in six stages, and for the “older” engine there is a 7-speed preselective gearbox with two clutches. Four-wheel drive is not new.
The base crossover is equipped with ABS and EBD, digital dashboard with a 12.3-inch display, modern multimedia with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, electronic handbrake, parking sensors, 18-inch alloy wheels, etc. With an increase in trim levels, SUV gets 19-inch wheels , panoramic roof, all-round cameras and automatic emergency braking system. The cost of the Jetour X70 Coupe starts from 91,000 yuan. The maximum price limit is 129,000 yuan
