Chery Automobile plans to bring a new product to the Chinese market this month – an electric crossover under the name Ant.
The new model is built on the Chery LFS architecture, designed for the use of an electric motor. In addition, the Ant has a custom body design with a pronounced nose.
As for the dimensions of the novelty, they are as follows: the length reaches 4630 mm, the width is 1910 mm, the height is 1655 mm, and the distance between the axles is 2830 mm. The luggage compartment volume is 386 liters in normal condition and 1250 liters – with the rear seats folded.
The new cross has a 178-horsepower electric motor that drives the rear wheels. On one charge, the car can cover a distance of up to 510 km.
The novelty, in particular, is equipped with a second level autopilot, adaptive cruise control, an automatic parking system, lane control, monitoring of “blind” zones and other options.
The cost of Ant is currently unknown, but it is assumed that in the Chinese market it will be offered at a price of $ 30,000.
In addition, it was recently noted that the Chinese company Chery is preparing to update the full-size Jetour X90 crossover. Although the price for the updated model has not yet been announced, it is expected that the new product will cost from 89,900 yuan.
