Chery Exeed LX luxury crossover debuted at Chengdu auto showSeptember 6, 2019
The premium sub-brand Chery brought its luxury Exeed LX crossover to a motor show in Chengdu. In fact, this SUV is a converted version of the crossover Chery Tiggo 7
At the auto show in Chengdu, China, a luxury crossover Chery Exeed LX was presented, which shared the platform with Chery Tiggo 7. Under the hood of the front-wheel drive, a 1.6-liter 197-horsepower “turbo four” combined with a “robot” is hidden. At the Tiggo 7 the new Exeed LX borrowed only the configuration of doors and windows. The brand itself created the exterior, as they say, from scratch. Inside the car there was a place for wooden and leather inserts, as well as effective diode illumination.
Dashboard and multimedia are visually combined into a single infotainment complex in the spirit of current Mercedes models.
The list of available options includes adaptive cruise control, a lane control system, 360-degree video cameras, LED-based optics and 19-inch wheels. The novelty will enter the home market in the near future, but it will be chosen outside of China only for next year.
