Perhaps Arctic Trucks will want to bring the renders to life
A Mexican automotive designer named Abimelek Arelano decided to fantasize about what Arctic Trucks’ Lamborghini Urus would look like. Unfortunately, while the brutal all-terrain vehicle is just a render, it is possible that the studio will be interested in the project and want to implement it.
Arelano noted that when creating the renderings of the Expeditionary Urus, he was inspired by the iconic supercar Lamborghini Countach. To install the crossover on bronze rims, “shod” in massive tires, the designer had to change the wheel arches – he borrowed their shape from the Lamborghini LM002 SUV.
In addition, the crossover received a redesigned front bumper with a winch, additional underbody protection and an expeditionary roof rack, on which the spare wheel is mounted. The interior of the “Arctic” Urus is trimmed with brown genuine leather.
This is not Arellano’s first project with a luxury car adapted for traveling on ice and snow – the designer has previously shown similar renders with a Rolls-Royce Cullinan and a Bentley Bentayga.
Atelier Arctic Trucks, which builds real off-road vehicles based on production vehicles, unveiled a converted version of the Ford F-150 pickup last year. It was based on a truck with a 3.5-liter Ford EcoBoost V6 dual-supercharged engine.
