The modified exhaust indicates that we have a high-performance version of the Cayenne Coupe GT.

If you are postponing the purchase of a Porsche Cayenne Coupe until a more powerful model appears, then it is in front of you. These spy shots may show the development of the Cayenne Coupe GT. The front of this Cayenne Coupe looks in many ways identical to existing models: it is not hidden under camouflage, and you might think that this is just an ordinary instance of a premium crossover.

However, the most interesting element of this model is at the back. Two fake exhausts are covered in snow, but the real exits are closer to the center, and the heat from the exhaust gases keeps them open.

As it became known earlier, Porsche revised the engine range for this model and, possibly, will use the power plant from the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid as a starting point, forcing it from 670 to 820 horsepower. To control high performance, a sophisticated all-wheel drive system will be provided.

According to other sources, the model could get a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from Lamborghini Urus. In addition, the “charged” SUV will be equipped with an updated brake system and sports suspension to ensure excellent driving performance. Inside, most likely, there will be seats with enhanced lateral support.

There are no hints as to when this Cayenne Coupe may debut anytime soon. Porsche has many 911 options, including Turbo and Targa, which are due to appear in 2020. However, in 2020, at some point, the company may find a window to introduce this performance-oriented crossover.
