Charged Hyundai Sonata N-Line debuts on April 20April 9, 2020
The Korean automaker intends to update its Sonata sedan after several customer complaints, while at the same time presenting a “charged” version of the model.
Hyundai Sonata 2021 model year, which will debut on April 20, will receive a number of technical improvements and improved sound insulation. So, thanks to the tuning of the control unit of the 2.0-liter engine, the acceleration of the model is improved, and a two-layer windshield is designed to reduce aerodynamic noise.
Along with the updated sedan, the N-Line version will also be presented. The Sonata N-Line is a more powerful lineup with improved performance compared to the Sonata Sport, using the N-line design and performance package. The novelty will receive an exclusively tuned suspension, a horizontally located 2.5-liter gasoline engine with a turbine and an 8-speed wet-clutch DCT transmission. A similar checkpoint was received by Hyundai Veloster N, which AutoTimesNews wrote about earlier.
The Sonata N-line, which was partially shown to American journalists, will receive several specifications, interiors and powertrains. The 2.5-liter Smart Stream T-GDI has a maximum power of 290 hp. The dual-clutch DCT 8-speed gearbox delivers incredibly fast gear shifts when downshifting.
