Charged electrocross Audi E-Tron S again seen during speed testsNovember 9, 2019
This time, a video of the next high-speed tests of the electric car appeared on the Web. This suggests that the debut time is approaching. Audi E-Tron S may receive up to 500 horsepower.
The spies again managed to shoot a prototype of the “charged” Audi E-Tron S on the Nurburgring. Apparently, the company continues to test before launching the model on the market. This may mean that the debut will take place soon. Judging by the photos and videos, the sports modification will not get big changes in the exterior design.
In the video, you can see that the company partially camouflaged the front bumper, or rather its lower skirt, rear bumper and door sills. Separately camouflaged grille, which will be the main difference between the standard and “charged” version of the electric car.
We do not yet have any details about the technical details of the news. The standard Audi E-Tron is capable of developing up to 402 horsepower. A more powerful version can get a power plant with a capacity of more than 500 horsepower in acceleration mode. This can be judged by the first concept of E-Tron. It had a three-engine layout with a total capacity of up to 496 horsepower.
The presentation of the Audi E-Tron S has not yet been announced. However, sales should begin as early as the end of 2020.
Meanwhile, Audi is going to offer the Chinese more than 9 electric cars by 2021. The company is actively developing in the electrified segment.
