The Spanish Cupra brand, which is part of the Seat brand, officially unveiled the “charged” Leon car. At the same time, the creation of the Cupra brand did not fundamentally affect the model – it became more modern and more technologically advanced, but at the same time retained its spirit and atmosphere. The main advantage of any powerful car is the power plant. Cupra Leon customers will be offered to choose from four power units at once.

The base will be a 2.0-liter turbo engine with a return of 245 hp. at 370 Nm of torque. There is also a forced version of the same engine – in this case, the power will be already 300 hp. at 400 Nm of torque. Such power plants work in tandem with a DGS dual-clutch robotic gearbox.

But the maximum modification boasts an engine with a power of 310 hp, which complements the all-wheel drive system. Such a car can reach a speed of 250 km / h, and it picks up the first “hundred” in 4.8 seconds.

 For the first time in the history of the model, the car receives a hybrid powerplant. It consists of a 1.4-liter turbo engine with 150 hp. and an electric motor with a return of 115 hp At the same time, a distance of 60 km can be overcome on one electrical component. From the exterior of the previous Seat Leon, the novelty is distinguished by an increased spoiler, new air intakes, a redesigned bumpers and a completely new grille.

 To add originality, 18- and 19-inch wheels have been specially designed. Also, customers will be able to choose blue and gray matte body shades. The changes also affected the chassis of the car – the clearance was reduced by 25 mm. The developers installed the original Brembo brakes and equipped the car with a new electric power steering. Inside the car, we note the advanced multimedia and new steering wheel, from which you can control driving modes.
