Charged BMW M8 was seen at the NurburgringNovember 7, 2018
The test prototype was pounded to such an extent that the front brakes became hot!
The new flagship coupe BMW 8 Series was introduced in June of this year, a version of the convertible was shown a few days ago. Well, very soon (at the Los Angeles Auto Show) an official presentation of the gig will take place.
A couple of hours ago, “spy” photos of the test prototype of the “charged” M8 turned out to be at the disposal of our automobile editorial office. It is reported that the coupe drove along the Nürburgring race track (Germany). Pay attention – in some pictures you can see that the car’s front brake discs have become red hot.
In general, we know what the Bavarian novelty will look like, but the car is completely covered with camouflage film.
There is no doubt that the more powerful M8 will get a slightly modified front and rear parts – as is usually the case with models from BMW M, the exterior of the car will be more aggressive. Note the small spoiler, which is located in the rear of the car and two twin tailpipes of the exhaust system.
According to insiders, a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine with a capacity of over 600 horsepower will be under the hood of the long-awaited Bavarian novelty. It is not surprising that when braking such a monster, the brake discs start to get very hot.
The “charged” version should be offered for both the coupe version and the 4-door coupe, as well as for the model in the back of a convertible. Probably, the presentation of the high-performance coupe BMW M8 will take place in a couple of months. A large coupe will be shown in 2019.
Not so long ago, our automobile edition wrote that a prototype BMW 1-Series sedan was spotted by journalists.
