Charged BMW M2 received a wide bodyJune 7, 2018
Thanks to the wider wings, experts from Z Performance will be able to equip the Bavarian coupe with massive wheel discs – in front of them the width is 10.5 inches, and the rear is 12.5 inches. In addition, another exhaust system and a screw suspension were installed.
The charged car BMW M2 comes with fairly wide wings right from the factory, but the guys from the tuning company Z Performance, apparently, do not think so. That’s why they decided to install on the car new wheel expanders from the company Bimmer. I must say that not all will “like” such unnatural wings.
Well, now, actually about why the wide wings were installed – the BMW M2 received ZP Forged multi-spoke wheels, 20 inches in size and 10.5 inches wide in front and 12.5 inches in back. Note that at the factory, the “charged” M2 coupe is equipped with 19-inch wheel discs that are 9 inches wide in front and 10 inches behind.
The new aerodynamic body kit, which is made of fiberglass, was created by the engineers at Zacoe Performance. It includes a front splitter, side skirts, a 3-section rear diffuser and a fairly large spoiler on the luggage compartment lid. In addition, throughout the car you can find elements of carbon fiber. But still, the most obvious changes that have occurred with the appearance of the Bavarian coupe are the huge wings. In a press release of their new project, the guys from Z Performance do not talk about how much the width of the car has increased.
In addition to the changed appearance, the Bavarian handsome man got a few more changes. Thanks to the catalytic converter, experts from Zacoe Performance managed to achieve improved exhaust sound. In addition, the suspension now received shock absorbers with varying heights – used by Lowtec coilovers. In the cabin there are elements of carbon fiber. The steering wheel received upholstery from the Alcantara.
Finally, we note that the standard M2 is equipped with a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine, the maximum power of which is 365 horsepower (the max torque is 465 Nm).
The company BMW is ready to present a new version of the crossover X5 2019 model year, which has passed a large update to meet the spirit of the times, as well as increasing competitiveness in the constantly updated segment of classmates.
