Charged Audi RS 6 Avant received a hardcore versionFebruary 2, 2018
German manufacturer and studio ABT Sportsline presented a limited series of Audi RS 6 Avant.
Audi RS 6 Avant in 2015 received a Performance version, in which the V8 with a capacity of 4.0 liters produced 597 hp. Now, the sedan has received an even more powerful performance, prepared in conjunction with specialists tuning studio ABT Sportsline. The novelty was given the name of Nogaro Edition and it will be released in 150 copies.
Built in honor of the iconic RS2, launched in 1994 as the first model of the RS line, the “shed” received its name from the name of the blue shade of the Nogaro enamel, which is combined with glossy black accents. The station wagon was completed with black 21-inch wheels with rubber 285/30 and titanium exhaust system RS.
The joint work of specialists from Audi and ABT made it possible to squeeze 695 hp from the TFSI motor, while the peak torque increased from 700 Nm to 880 Nm. This increase in power is provided by the RS6 Avant Performance Nogaro Edition from zero to the 100km/h in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h with the optional Dynamic Package Plus package, otherwise the car’s “maximum” is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
Audi has already started accepting orders for a novelty in Germany – the most “hot” Audi RS6 Avant ever sold there at a price of 124,000 euros, while the version with blue accents in the cabin will cost customers 130,000 euros. By the way, each car will receive a plate with the serial number and the Nogaro Edition logo.
