Changan has postponed the debut of its most striking crossoverMarch 5, 2020
The premiere of the Changan Uni-T model was decided to be postponed until a later date. It was expected that the Chinese brand will show its own new cross at the Geneva auto show. But in connection with the coronavirus, the famous auto show was canceled.
Recently, experts at the Chinese Automobiles portal asked brand chief designer Bertrand Bach what the corporation intended to do due to the cancellation of the Geneva auto show. An alternative could be a motor show in Beijing, which was supposed to be held in April. However, it was transferred for unknown reasons.
Cross came out quite interesting and non-standard. It possesses a dimensional trapezoidal radiator grill broken into 200 rhombuses, ultra-narrow “cilia” of LED DRL and S-shaped air ducts with integrated head light.
On the side, it is worth noting the successful combination of a sloping roof and a curving window line. Doors are equipped with hidden handles. And behind the image is complemented by a huge spoiler, 3-dimensional LED lights and four trapezoidal tailpipes of the exhaust system.
It is known that the cross will have a length of 4515 mm, a width of 1870 mm and a height of 1565 mm. The distance between the axles is 2710 mm. Auto for China will receive a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 179 hp. and 7DCT robotic transmission. Under assumptions, a more powerful 2.0T motor will also be offered.
