Carlex Design atelier unveiled the exterior of the new Land Rover Defender
December 3, 2020Carlex Design has redesigned the exterior of the next generation Land Rover Defender.
The project, based on the British SUV, was named the Racing Green Edition, which refers to the emerald green exterior shade, inspired by British racing green. In addition, the tuners used a lot of carbon fiber – this material is used to trim the hood, wheel arch extensions and even the spare wheel cover.
This is in contrast to the white stripes that run all over the SUV’s body, while the stripes on the side of the front doors feature the Racing Green Edition lettering. The tuned car also has unique rims fitted with Yokohama tires.
In the interior, it is worth noting the presence of sports seats, trimmed with brown leather, with the Racing Green Edition logo. It features green accents, Racing Green Edition embossing on the front armrest, Carlex badging on the dashboard and a limited-edition serial number plate.
The technical equipment of the SUV remains the same. So, it is offered with a 296-horsepower twin-turbo 2.0-liter engine or a 396-horsepower 3.0-liter unit with a mild hybrid system. The first engine allows the model to accelerate to 96 km / h in 7.7 seconds, and the second in 5.8 seconds.
In addition, some time ago it was noted that the Citikar Volkswagen Up! received a bright livery. It should be emphasized that this car stands out for the presence of a powerful unit, a rigid suspension, and also a spectacular body kit.
