Captured interior updated sedan Acura TLX 2021August 27, 2019
Journalists managed to capture not only the strongly camouflaged exterior of the Japanese novelty, but also its interior. Acura TLX 2021 will debut at the end of this year or at the beginning of the next before it goes on sale.
The day after premium Japanese company Acura introduced the high-performance Type S concept, spy photos of the next-generation TLX sedan appeared.
Despite the fact that camouflage and false panels hid most of the body parts of the prototype, there is no doubt that under them is presented the same design style that we saw in Type S Concept. These pictures also gave us a look at the interior of the car.
We see the same display of the infotainment system, as well as the analog dashboard, as before. We also see the steering wheel and the Camera button with the top silhouette of the car, possibly alluding to the all-round visibility system. The photos also show the dashboard and a small part of the center console. It is likely that the latter may look similar to the dashboard in the RDX model.
Most of the car is still covered with strong camouflage film, however, we see a hint of the front daytime running lights, which look almost the same as on the Type S Concept, exactly like the taillights; However, they are not as angular as in the concept. The new TLX will also be slightly larger in size than the current version of the model.
It is possible that under the hood of the sedan there will be a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that develops a torque of 272 horsepower (380 Nm). It will drive the front or all four wheels at once through a 10-speed automatic transmission.
