Tesla, which is now becoming one of the most prominent manufacturers of electric cars, can offer an electric car for almost every segment, including trucks. Not so long ago, the shocking pickup Cybertruck was introduced.

However, one of the things that make Tesla electric cars even more famous is not only zero emissions and an unusual appearance. These cars are really fast, especially those that have “packages” of performance, and it’s only a matter of time before these electric cars become absolute kings of speed competitions.

As part of a recent race, which the guys from the DragTimes team decided to organize, they decided to compare who is faster on arrival at the standard 402 meters – the electric Tesla Model 3 (sedan) and Model X (crossover), or the most powerful gasoline Dodge Challenger. And this is not an ordinary Challenger, but its reproduction performance of the R / T Scat Pack 1320. Do Tesla models have a chance against this oil car with a powerful gasoline-powered engine?

 The Challenger R / T Scat Pack 1320 is powered by a 485 horsepower (644 Nm) 6.4-liter Hemi engine. It removed all seats except the driver’s one in order to reduce the total weight and thereby increase speed indicators.

 The performance of the Tesla Model 3 looks pretty good on paper. With a total power of 473 hp (639 Nm) from the front and rear engines, the sedan can overcome 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds. The Tesla Model X crossover is capable of developing power in 762 hp. – 259-horsepower electric motor in front and 503-strong rear.
