A video has appeared on the YouTube channel that captures a drag race between the high-performance BMW M sedan (F90) and the Italian supercar Ferrari 488 Pista. The Bavarian sedan received a “package” of upgrades from the tuning studio.

The BMW M5 F90 is one of the most impressive sports sedans ever built and a car that can easily beat most of the best sports cars these days. Although the M5 is a fairly heavy luxury sedan, the combination of a powerful twin-turbo V8, fast automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system makes it a serious drag racing contender.

The tuners from the Evolve team thought they could make the F90 M5 even better by adding a power boost package.

A video has appeared on the Carwow YouTube channel showing the race of the Bavarian sedan with the Italian supercar Ferrari 488 Pista.

The BMW M5 Competition F90 is powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that produces 617 hp. (750 Nm). This power is transmitted to the AWD system via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The BMW M5 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 3 seconds and cover a quarter mile (402 meters) in 10.9 seconds. Thanks to a complete set of upgrades from the Evolve studio, the car boasts 800 hp.

The Ferrari 488 Pista is the fastest version of the 488 GTB and is designed for use on the racetrack. Under the hood of the mid-engine supercar is a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that develops 710 hp. (770 Nm). Thanks to its extensive use of carbon fiber, the Pista is 91kg lighter than a regular Ferrari 488.

Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote about the race between the Honda Civic Type R and the VW Golf GTI TCR. A foreign YouTuBe channel captures a straight race between the high-performance Honda Civic Type R hatchbacks and the VW Golf GTI TCR. Both contenders for victory are equipped with engines of approximately the same power. The result of the race can be surprising.
