Cadillac unveils 33-inch Lyriq crossover screenJuly 22, 2020
Cadillac has shared pictures of a large 33-inch display designed for the brand’s first electric vehicle, the Lyriq cross. The novelty should debut on August 6 this year.
Judging by the photo, the screen of a revolutionary electric car for the brand will fully correspond to its status, and we are talking about a giant diagonal and about functions. The latter are divided into three zones “flowing” into each other.
One of the pictures shows a pictogram with which the electric car itself warns the driver that it will not reach the destination without recharging. In the center, speed, distance and travel time to the target are marked, and the navigator on the right shows information about the nearest charging station and suggests adding it to the route.
The screen shown will be the largest ever equipped on a production car. The 38-inch display of the new Cadillac Escalade could break this “record”, but it is not one-piece, and the 48-inch screen of the M-Byte electric cross from the Chinese company Byton has not yet been developed.
In addition, it was recently noted that the Cadillac CT5 and CT-5 V sedans will receive a huge digital dashboard. Both cars will be positioned as new for the 2021 model year. The sedan presentation has not yet taken place.
