Cadillac Escala Concept will receive a serial version in 2021March 16, 2018
Cadillac can develop a serial version of the concept called Escala, which was introduced in August 2016. As reported by Autoline Network, production of the car can be adjusted at the plant in Detroit. Assembly of new items will begin in December 2021.
The machine will split the platform with CT6. All the rest of the information about the serial Escala is kept secret. At the moment, it is not even known which car will be released. In the company’s model range, the novelty will take place on the step above the CT6.
Prototype Escala in size exceeds the sedan CT6. The car is built on the Omega platform. The concept is equipped with a 4.2-liter petrol twin-turbo V8 engine. The engine power is 500 horsepower.
Escala received LED optics and 22-inch wheels. Upholstery is made by hand. Cadillac Escala was equipped with three curved OLED-displays.
A number of stylistic solutions of the concept in the future will receive an updated Cadillac CT6. Restyling sedan will receive a similar wide grille, as well as new optics, other bumpers and a sports exhaust system with two nozzles.
Earlier it was reported that Cadillac was going to develop a new flagship sedan CT9. The premiere of the model will take place no earlier than 2029. The cost of the car will reach 300 thousand dollars.
